Compliance Is Not an Afterthought
Everything you need to know about how ApexPlay's sweepstakes model works, how we disclose odds, and how we comply with Texas and federal law.
How Dual-Currency Play Stays Legal
ApexPlay uses a two-currency system common to legally operating sweepstakes platforms across the United States, including Texas:
Gold Coins
Virtual credits with no cash value, used solely for entertainment play. Gold Coins may be purchased as a product, similar to buying credits in any mobile game.
Sweeps Coins
Promotional entries that can be redeemed for cash prizes. Sweeps Coins are never sold — they are given away free with Gold Coin purchases or obtained at no cost through our mail-in request program (AMOE), as required by sweepstakes law.
Why This Structure Is Lawful
- No purchase is ever required to obtain Sweeps Coins or to play any game.
- Sweeps Coins carry identical odds regardless of how they were obtained.
- This mirrors the structure used by nationally operating sweepstakes casinos that legally serve Texas players.
- Prizes are awarded based on chance under promotional sweepstakes law, not wagering law.
How We Verify and Publish Every RTP Figure
Independent Lab Testing
Every game's RNG and payout tables are tested by an independent auditing lab before launch and on a recurring quarterly basis.
Full Public Disclosure
The resulting RTP percentage, volatility rating, and hit-frequency are published directly on each game's page — not buried in a terms document.
No Dynamic Adjustment
RTP is fixed at the mathematical model level. We do not throttle, adjust, or personalize odds based on player behavior or spend.
Audit Trail Retention
Historical audit summaries are retained and available upon request, consistent with the transparency standards of licensed real-money jurisdictions.
